  2. John O'Grady, retired SVH employee. says:

What a disloyal coward using Dail privilege to make your allegations against your employer. If your employer does not enjoy your confidence shouldn’t you have the courage to resign instead of nursing a grudge for 11 years? Is there some law that requires a business to charge less for a product if the materials used are cheap/free? Come up for air Mr. Crown!

  3. Marie Farrell says:

I think that it appalling to criticize anyone in Mr Crown’s position, who has vast experience of the health services in the country and is now in a position to not only disclose wrongdoing when he finds it but to comment on it as and when appropriate. There were well publicised matters regarding St Vincent’s Hospital Group and we all know what these were. Other hospitals can and will be criticized from time to time. If people like John Crown is expected to turn a blind eye to wrongdoing, then what are we saying – that it is all right? No wonder the country and health services are in such a state with all the scandals in hospitals and no one taking responsibility and no accountability. We cannot let these events go unchallenged. We all know what happens to whistle-blowers in Ireland!!!
